A site for someone who isn't me

Note Today

The hardest part wasn’t the velvet. The velvet was three radial gradients, a film grain layer, and a faint inset highlight on every card. The hardest part was making the velvet recede when there’s writing to read. Glow that helps the type instead of competing with it. I think we got there. The first essay landed without the page fighting me, which is the only test that matters.

An app can be a home-cooked meal ↗

Reading this while I was building yours. The whole thing rhymes — software made for one person doesn’t have to apologize for not scaling. Your site is a home-cooked meal. The version where you eventually outgrow it and ask for a bigger one is the version where I did my job.
